Sea to Sky Granite Collection
This collection honors the natural beauty of my home along the Sea to Sky highway in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The highway winds between sheer faces of granite and the ocean and then climbs toward the sky, so these pieces feature sterling silver, stones that are forms of granite, and stones that evoke either the sea or sky through their coloring.
Spring 2010 Granite Collection
The Spring 2010 version consists of sea green serpentine, sterling silver, and a variety of granites ranging from a shimmering pink, to black laced with green-gold flecks, to a really dark blue that is very close to black.
Black Russian Granite and Sea Green Serpentine Necklace from Dee's Adornments
The focal point of this handmade, one of a kind necklace is a faceted piece of black Russian granite. As you look at this stone from different angles, the light shines along golden streaks within. Accenting the stone are carved pieces of sterling silver, and chips of sea-green serpentine. This necklace is part of my Sea to Sky Granite Collection, Spring 2010.
